The Committee of the Leyland National Group would like to invite all members to the attend the 2013 Annual General Meeting, to be held at

 

Milestones Museum,

Leisure Park,

Churchill Way West,

Basingstoke RG22 6PG

 

Sunday 17th March 2013.

 

The Meeting will commence at 2pm.

 

There is a café on site at the museum which offers a fair selection of hot and cold food and drinks, additionally there is also a Public House inside the Museum. The Museum is open from 11am and the there is an entrance fee of £8.50 for adults and £7.50. A discretionary discount on the entrance fee will be paid after , to members attending the meeting .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By rail

Basingstoke Railway Station is two miles from Milestones. It is served by South West Trains services from London Waterloo, Salisbury and the West of England Line and services from Southampton. It is also served by First Great Western services from Reading. On Sunday 17th March the services between Salisbury & Basingstoke are subject to engineering works and the train service replaced by buses.

 

Shuttle bus (Centre Shuttle Park & Ride)

Frequent shuttle bus (The Centre Shuttle Park & Ride) runs during the daytime between the railway station, town centre and Leisure Park stopping directly outside the museum. This bus departs from the bus stops outside the railway station at the bottom of the steps.

 

By car

Milestones is only 3 miles from the M3 on the Basingstoke Leisure Park.

From Junction 6 of the M3 follow the brown tourist signs for 'Leisure Park', driving clockwise around the ring road. At the Thornycroft Roundabout (you will see Milestones ahead of you), take the first exit into Churchill Way West (B3400), for Milestones and the Leisure Park. Go up to, and all the way round the next roundabout. Enter the Leisure Park via Entrance B, signed Milestones, and turn right. The museum lies straight ahead.

From Junction 7 of the M3 take the A30. Follow signs to Basingstoke town centre and brown tourist signs for 'Leisure Park'. At Winchester Roundabout, follow the brown tourist signs for 'Leisure Park', driving clockwise around the ring road, to the Thornycroft Roundabout.

There is free parking outside the museum.
